denial of service attack against software written in Perl.
The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following package version:
- Ubuntu 12.10:
- perl 5.14.2-13ubuntu0.2
- Ubuntu 12.04 LTS:
- perl 5.14.2-6ubuntu2.3

- perl 5.12.4-4ubuntu0.2
- Ubuntu 10.04 LTS:
- perl 5.10.1-8ubuntu2.3
- Ubuntu 8.04 LTS:
- perl 5.8.8-12ubuntu0.8
To update your system, please follow these instructions: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Security/Upgrades.
