Rhythmbox Music and Totem video players

Ubuntu comes with Rhythmbox as the fully supported music player, one of many choices for playing your music. It is a full function music player that allows you to plug in your MP3 player, download and share music, access rights-free music stores, share albums across networks and stream live radio. Totem Video Player allows you to watch streamed content from the BBC, Youtube and other sources as well as supporting many free and open source music formats. Canonical is also making codecs available to allow users to watch DVDs and access proprietary formats legally and easily.

Stream live radio. Rhythmbox opens up the world of Internet radio. On top of the pre-configured options there are thousands of stations that can be streamed by simply entering the URL of the station. Rhythmbox allows you to categorise them as you like so you can match the music to your mood.

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) and other peripheral interfaces mean that whatever portable device you choose to listen on will be read by Rhythmbox and allow you to listen from the device or move music around depending the DRM of the device you are using. Rhythmbox does not come with digital rights management restrictions.
