Download Ubuntu directly. You will need to create a DVD or USB stick to install it this way. You can replace your current operating system, whether it’s Windows or Mac OS, or run Ubuntu alongside it.

If you’d rather order an official Ubuntu 12.04 LTS CD and install it that way, they are available from the Ubuntu shop, at just £8.50 for a pack of 10, plus postage and packing.
